This unique exhibition explores memory, time, and the quiet traces left behind by human experience. Through abstract works, installations, and spatial compositions, the exhibition reflects on impermanence, urban decay, and the emotional landscapes shaped by everyday moments. Inspired by literature, architecture, and the passage of time, the works invite viewers into a contemplative journey between presence and disappearance.
Matthew Casha is a multidisciplinary artist and architect working across abstract art, spatial design, and site-specific installations. His practice explores memory, temporality, decay, and the relationship between human experience and the built environment.
Combining traditional artistic approaches with digital technologies and contemporary fabrication methods, his work investigates how landscapes, structures, and emotions evolve through time. Matthew has represented Malta internationally, including at the Venice Biennale and the London Design Biennale, and was awarded the Premju għall-Arti for Best International Achievement in 2023.
